1. The service
Borrow provides a lightweight, self-reported record for shared physical items. It is not inventory control, identity verification, rental, insurance, security, or legal custody software.
2. Capability links
Collection, item, and management links act as access capabilities. Keep the management link private and share interaction links only with people you trust. Anyone with the relevant link may be able to view or change the associated data.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter, permission to share it, the people who receive links, and real-world lending decisions. Do not enter sensitive, unlawful, misleading, or unnecessary personal information.
4. No identity or return guarantee
Names are self-reported. Borrow does not verify a person's identity, possession, condition, authority, or return of an item and cannot prevent misuse, loss, theft, or damage.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided as available and may change, be interrupted, or discontinue. We may restrict abusive use and apply technical limits needed for security and reliability.
